Gallowgate Asbestos Removal and Demolition for Burnfield

Burnfield Demolition were asked by the Wheatley Group to clear an area of land in the Gallowgate district of Glasgow. The buildings were blocks of previously occupied, three storey, flatted accommodation. All of which required stripping out and asbestos removal before the demolition works could proceed.

GreenAir Environmental Ltd carried out all of the asbestos removal to a very high standard and disposed of the waste as per HSE and SEPA guidelines.

The site itself is within a populated housing estate so noise and dust suppression were two of the most important factors to consider whilst the actual demolition was taking place. Silent running generators are always used on Burnfield Demolition sites to minimise noise as much as possible. Images can be seen of the water cannons used onsite whenever a machine was in operation.
