Mount Carmel Monastery Machine Demolition for Burnfield

Westpoint Homes acquired a property in the leafy suburbs of central Pollokshields, Glasgow. An area surrounded by the former villas of Glasgow’s Tobacco lords, containing many listed buildings and large, high value housing. Luxury flats are earmarked for the large site with Burnfield Demolition being appointed due to their vast experience of working in sensitive area’s of architectural importance.

The project itself was the demolition and asbestos removal of a former monastery and it’s residential wings, involving the following aspects:

• asbestos removal
• machine demolition
• material seperation and crushing

Burnfield Demoltion’s extremely reliable sister company GreenAir Environmental carried out the asbestos removal onsite to the satisfaction of the client.
